According to the latest Roy Morgan Research Sport Monitor Dragon supporters (574,000) clearly outnumber Rooster supporters (203,000).
While Roosters and Dragon supporters barrack for different teams the differences do not end there. In terms of demographics Dragon supporters are more likely to be male, aged over 50, with lower incomes whereas Rooster supporters are more likely to have higher incomes and be professionals/managers.
Further analysis of attitudes and behaviours reveals that the Rooster supporters are more likely to holiday overseas and go to night clubs/discos whereas the Dragons are more likely to worry about interest rates and have been to a racetrack.
