This research explores the emerging issue of consumer perceptions of climate change and carbon emission offset schemes for holiday or leisure travel. In particular, this research investigates the societal issues of concern and importance among Australians, their awareness of carbon emission offset schemes and their current and intended participation in these schemes, as well as the reasons behind their participation/non-participation. This report provides a background to the research, information on the methodology employed and a summary of key findings including commentary and supporting figures and tables.
